No. Popinspect is pre-grade intelligence — we tell you what CGC, Beckett, SWAU, VVGS, or PGS are likely to grade your Pop. The official grade still comes from them. We just make sure you only ship the ones worth shipping.
What's a pre-grade?
A pre-grade is a predicted grade. We run 47 inspection points across 8 categories on your Pop's photos and return the likely grade range each major grader would award. Used before submitting to avoid spending $25 on a Pop that won't earn it back.
Now that PSA stopped grading Funko Pops, what should I do?
PSA discontinued Funko Pop grading on December 1, 2025. The 2026 options are CGC (default), Beckett (centering specialty), SWAU (signed Pops), VVGS (paint strictness), and PGS (cheapest). Popinspect's predictor is calibrated for all five — each pre-grade returns predicted grades per grader so you can pick the highest-yield one for your specific Pop.
How accurate is the pre-grade vs the real PSA grade?
